The Geospatial Data Engineering Associate is the premier program for anyone looking to master scalable geospatial data systems. This program pioneers the use of the multi-hop (medallion) architecture for geospatial data — guiding you through the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers to build pipelines that are clean, performant, and production-ready. Across 5 weeks, you’ll learn how to ingest, validate, transform, and optimize vector and raster data with Apache Sedona and Wherobots, export GeoParquet datasets, generate map tiles, and even apply AI-powered inference. The result is a complete skillset for engineering geospatial data at enterprise scale. This course is designed for GIS professionals, data engineers, and analysts who are ready to step beyond desktop workflows and lead the way in building the next generation of spatial data infrastructure.
